Public bug reported: When I run nvidia-xonfig and then restart to run with the generated xorg.conf, I cannot use/login to my system anymore, because after the boot process I dont get a login screen, but a completely black screen with a tiny little white dot in the top left corner.
Booting in rescue mode and deleting/moving the xorg.conf and letting the system start without one fixes the issue and gives me a login screen.
