Does this problem still occur in Firefox 3 beta 5 (the version that comes in the full release of Hardy)? I'm unable to reproduce this but scrolling in Gmail is really really slow since FF 3.0 in Hardy. Does using a different theme fix t6his for you? If so please list all themes that you have installed that this bug affects. Also please list all extentions/addons that you have installed. Does the problem go away if you start firefox in safe mode? To start FF in safemode: 1. Open terminal 2. Could you provide some more information? Is your problem that gmail is in a different language? On Firefox 2, gmail really doesn't take up the full firefox screen but a portion of it. When you switch back to firefox, you can see that, but a moment later it re-adjusts itself.
