[Bug 2053006] Re: [RM] senlin, senlin-dashboard
Debian testing is a release behind where we are in Ubuntu (as has always been the case) so often we have to take action in Ubuntu before the same happens in Debian. Caracal removes deprecated features specifically in oslo.db (in preparation for a move to SQLAlchemy 2.0 later) which require refactoring - there is no active pool of developers to complete this work and the gates for these projects are broken upstream, with no volunteers to fix them. ** Changed in: senlin-dashboard (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2053006 Title: [RM] senlin, senlin-dashboard To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/senlin/+bug/2053006/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 2053006] Re: [RM] senlin, senlin-dashboard
senlin-dashboard, however, is still in Debian testing and unstable. It doesn't appear to have any RC bugs. If we remove it, it might come back again; and this doesn't seem like an obvious candidate for adding to the sync blocklist. Is there a reason it's harmful to have this package in universe? ** Changed in: senlin-dashboard (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2053006 Title: [RM] senlin, senlin-dashboard To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/senlin/+bug/2053006/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
