Even after applying all the latest updates, I never was able to launch Unity. After today’s updates of unity-session, gnome-session, I still can’t load Unity. From lightDM, I get stuck on the background. Tried unity- tweak-tool --reset to no avail. I'm not sure how to report this, but I noticed that the USB ports are malfunctioning every other reboot. My USB WiFi adapter (TP-Link T3U Plus) stops working, and when I unplug, it doesn't show up. I can't change the wallpaper, nor the network config is in there.
