After update WINE to the version 1.1.12~winehq0~ubuntu~8.10-0ubuntu1 and
deleting folder ~/.wine problem with fonts fixed!
Right now all applications under wine looking fine!

Hi, is this still an issue in Ubuntu 8.10? Wine now has a DPI slider in
winecfg which may help.

very strange, do you use compiz? if you disable the Y limiting feature
in move you can use alt drag to move them

I deleted my registry in .wine after I backed it up somewhere and it's
now fine!
