Hardware: HP Pavillion DV5000, core-duo, 2G ram
Software: Hardy-rc alternate install CD

description.
When selecting Install from the options menu after the CD boots, I get a error 
"Critical Temperature Reached (0C)" and the system shuts down.

This has not happened before on Feisty or Gutsy.

I can perform an installation by inserting acpi=off in the boot options.
