Public bug reported: Binary package hint: pulseaudio
Audio didn't work properly with Feisty (e.g. recording with Intel ICH6 hardware). I wanted to try pulseaudio and did a "update-manager -d" but pulseaudio isn't installed. I had to install from scratch from a CD. I think upgrading should install and configure pulseaudio.
