this is not a bug; but intended. if libraries are API incompatible they cannot be symlinked with the incompatible version. If you change symlinks on your own in /usr, you are own your own ... /var/lib/dpkg/info/gcjwebplugin-4.2.postinst registers the plugin with the correct path:

If you would have read my OP carefully you would have come to only 1 (one) conclusion and thats that they will list entries that are using (in the end) the symlink i wrote about... Anyway --list, shows: (this is same with all others for ) /usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj/jre/lib/libgcjwebplugin.so And
