Don't worry, we can fix this after the release, too. Also, we have to,
we cannot change Hardy itself any more.
Alexander, do you know why the zn_CN translations are not put into the
Chinese Mozilla tarball?

I had exactly the same problem.
After installed 8.04 RC, I installed the language support for Simplified
Chinese (zh_CN), then switched default locale to zh_CN.
After reboot, almost all the gnome interface is switched to Simplified Chinese
properly, however, Firefox is in Traditional Chinese
