I have the same problem, I am using ubuntu 8.10 with GNOME rhythmbox
0.11.6. The actual .deb installed is
rythmbox_0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.2. I tried to add the feed
http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/worldservice/docarchive/rss.xml but
it was not sucessful. I have attached the debugging
Any news about this? Has somone sent it upstream and can provide a bug

Annoyingly, if you install Virtualbox 2.0.** and install Vista, then
install iTunes, the same podcasts that didn't work in Rhythmbox start to
download faultlessly. I installed Vista to cure my printer woes - now I
can use my printer with Vista - and iTunes, and ACDseePro2.
H apart from
the podcasts works for me with Intrepid, can someone give it a try with
it? thanks.

same here. no error message, .. the podcast just doesn't show up in my list.
I successfully added a few podcast, (chinesepod.com/feed and
spanishpod.com/feed).
but more recently http://feeds.feedburner.com/German-podcast and
http://www.arabicpod.net/feed/lessons just don't show up when I add

Could you please provide the URL of the podcast feed.
Also, coud you please launch rhythmbox from the command line in debug mode:
rhythmbox -d
and see what it reports in the command line when you try to add the
podcast.
