You need to file a separate bug report for each bug. More than likely
the attachment bugs will be fixed in 3.0. 2.0 is only receiving security
updates. Closing bug for that reason.

Thats what I did, I changed the settings not to attach messages.
So this error does not show up any more.
But thunderbird uis still buggy, cannot get along with attached messages and
needs to be fixed.

I have found an upstream bug for this issue with at least one user
reporting the problem on Thunderbird 2.0.0.19, so I will mark this bug
as confirmed. It may be tracked, and comments made, here:

Are you stating the the dialog box that should tell you to add a subject is
blank? Or the email became blank and attachments were removed?
