Thank you for your interest in Ubuntu. This was removed from Debian and Ubuntu due to open RC bugs and a lack of people interested in maintaining it. If you anyone is interested in getting this package back into the distros, please consider joining the Debian pkg-multimedia team

This is a great, simple video editor. It is missing some bells and whistles, but for the 'behind the scenes' stuff it takes care of for the user, this is priceless. The new features that have been added in the past year make it look amazing, giving great freedom in some necessary ways I think
