Yes, It remains. I've found that the problem disapear if I uninstall
openoffice.org-gtk but then, the fonts of openoffice.org get smaller and
it looks uglier.

I finally I found what the problem is. If I change the theme the problem
disapear. I was using Nimbus theme.

Do you still have this problem if you upgrade to Intrepid? The Xorg log looks
like you are running Gutsy on both of the machines...

If you disable compiz via System-Preferences-Appearance-Visual
Effects (None) does the problem go away?

At work I'm using ati radeon and at home intel. I have the problem on
both machine. I attach the Xorg.0.log of my ati machine at work now and
I'll do the same for my intel machine at home this afternoon.

I don't if maybe I have something wrong on my X configuration

I've realised of this:
The issue doesn't appear on the live CD of hardy and intrepid, so I
guess that is something on my configuration. I deleted the openoffice
folder from my home directoryt, but the problem doesn't disappear.
