I've live-booted Ubuntu 8.10 64-bit Beta which works OK. However, the update itself was not OK: only a partial update was possible, and even that partial update went wrong. The update-GUI said I had to run sudo dpkg --configure -a because of the errors, but that was not possible: [EMAIL
