Public bug reported: Hi,
I got Problem: ===== When I want to upload a file via network, e.g. a larger mail attachment (about 2 MB and more) through a browser (tried Firefox and Opera) or a mail client (Thunderbird - on an different mail server), the upload process just stops after few seconds. I don't know if it just slows down but it's as good as stopped - it has no end nor progress. I think it concerns upload generally. This issue is a real blocker anyway. What I expected and what happend: ========== File upload would be done in lets say 20 seconds. But it doesn't show any further progress after few seconds. OS: === Description: Ubuntu 8.04 Release: 8.04 Linux child 2.6.24-19-generic #1 SMP Wed Jun 4 16:35:01 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux The installation's new on a new laptop (Core 2 Duo), about 2 months old & I am new too as Linux user; system regularly updated via Update manager. Interface is: Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller (rev 01). Probably, this is a duplicate bug (I've seen several but I think mine is a bit different :) or you need more information from me. Please give me instructions if so. Thank you very much. Hope this can be fixed.
