[Bug 246130] Re: nautilus says out of space on multiple files copy. but may actually want to skip/replace some files
I disagree. I was trying to copy 58 GB worth of music from a ftp share, but can't because you don't have a simple ignore option. Open this back up. you are commenting at the wrong place open a bug on bugzilla.gnome.org rather the ubuntu will not work on those changes -- nautilus says out of space on multiple files copy. but may actually want to skip/replace some files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246130 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 246130] Re: nautilus says out of space on multiple files copy. but may actually want to skip/replace some files
Thank you for your bug report. What you describe is a corner case, usually users who don't have space to copy something should do some cleaning and try again. The extra logic you describe would be of no use in most of the cases and add complexity to the code for no real win. The ubuntu desktop team doesn't have the ressources to work on such changes so I'm closing the bug. You can try to open a bug on bugzilla.gnome.org if you really disagree on that though ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = Low Assignee: (unassigned) = Ubuntu Desktop Bugs (desktop-bugs) Status: New = Invalid -- nautilus says out of space on multiple files copy. but may actually want to skip/replace some files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246130 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
