My problem is slightly different, in that I _did_ create the signature in HTML
and when I start to create the signature, I import HTML file - there is no
other text. (I created the signature in GEDIT)
Every time I restart Evolution, the signature is displayed as HTML code, and
when I go into
I fixed my problem by creating a new signature and specified it's format
as html before i saved it for the first time.
I think my original problem was because I had a plain signature and I
wanted to change it to html format.

I resolved the issue by creating an html signature from scratch. Problem
seems to appear when you attempt to alter an existing signature from
plain text to html.

Hi, as you can see my html signature is working.
I have found that the issue of the signature not been formatted
correctly in new/replied/forwarded messages occurs when you convert an
existing signature (that is not html formatted) to be html formatted. I
think the the system does not
