Public bug reported:
Ubuntu frequently complains about unclean shutdown and checks the
harddisk for errors at start up which takes considerable amount of time
and irritating. Most of the times I do a clean shutdown but it still
keeps on complaining. I am using kernel version "2.6.24-19-generic" and
ubuntu hardy heron.
