Binary package hint: adept
The latest batch of Kubuntu Hardy updates (02 August 08) caused a
curious glitch.
There were a dozen updates, of which adept_updater first downloaded two.
(The second one of these was python-gobject.) At this point, for some
reason, it decided to apply the changes already. (I may or may not have
inadvertently pushed a key to do so, will check if this was the case
when there are new updates.)
The issue is, it did not return to the downloading view after that,
though I noticed from the traffic monitor that it resumed the rest of
the downloads and let it continue. Without a traffic monitor the
adept_updater UI would've appeared buggy/"semi-hung", with the buttons
greyed out.
