The ATI problem actually has a fix by adding:
Option MonitorLayout LVDS,AUTO
to your xorg.conf under the monitor options. Using this is supposed to
make the liveCD install a viable option for people experiencing the
problem.

as I test in 6.10 it also has this problem. I think it caused as a result of
unicode translation. so you can't show for example persian ye in your
translations.
