Hi Juan:
Thank you for pointing out the duplication. I tried the work around,
seting session to xfce4 at logon and making it the default and it seems to
work. Thank you again!! I'm a newbie
While my family name is Lamborn my mother's maiden name was Martinez...

Bug description:
Just that, the screensaver in Xubuntu 8.04.1 does not work.
I have arranged to activate the screensaver when the computer is idle for 1
minute, but nothing happens.
I also've put the display to sleep when inactive for 2 minutes... It does not
work too.
