Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. I can confirm that this idea is implemented since Ubuntu
9.10 (usb-creator version 0.2.12).

If running from a live system, should
I agree that using the Live CD as image should be the default, but the
user should still be offered the possibility to select a different disk
image (to install another version than the running Live CD, for
example...).

If running from a live system, should not ask for Source disk image
I'm not convinced that the language and keyboard settings should be
transferred over; many people don't bother setting them in the
bootloader, and it's easy just to ask again. I agree with this bug
report otherwise.
