Unable to reproduce success, but I think this worked on atleast one computer:
The solution did not work on atleast one computer.
x Create /etc/ld.so.conf/ecl with the line "/usr/lib/ecl" in it.
x Run sudo ldconfig
** Affects: ecl (Ubuntu)
