Update: I've triggered this bug once (unable to reproduce it now)
with compiz disabled, so this looks like not a compiz issue.
Maybe this is driver or X related? Wild guess:

i don't know if mackenzie agrees, but my suggestion is for you to tell us the
output of:
cat /sys/class/drm/card0/dri_library_name
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /sys/class/drm/card0/dri_library_name
r200

How can I find this out?
I haven't changed anything in graphics settings, so I think I'm using
default opensource driver.
