launched the guest session, I wanted to switch back to my normal user. The

well I also solved this, if the session type is that xclient script it didnt
work, but by selecting GNOME or KDE directly it works very fine !
Maybe that Xclient script thingy is a leftover from earlier versions, so sorry

Oh, I just started a guest session again and the result was a black
screen without mouse pointer. Switching to the original X session tty7
and then back to the guest-session on tty9 worked. Attaching a copy of
Xorg.0.log.

I can confirm this
on my laptop, I can login my normal account, but when I try to use the
guest login or the one of a friend of mine I can only see the mouse
curser on a black screen.
Im using fglrx instead of the radeon one but I think this doesnt matter
for this issue.
