$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch) Release: 8.10 ~$ uname -a Linux peter-laptop 2.6.27-5-generic #1 SMP Fri Oct 3 00:36:38 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux System->Preferences ->Power Management set Display to sleep after 2 min do NOT work. Instead it gets dim and after pre set time has elapsed it goes back up to full display mode. It toggles back and forth between these two phases and never fall to sleep. Preferences -> Screen Saver does not work either. Chose a screen saver and close will not activate that screen saver. ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Intrepid +64bit] Display do NOT fall to sleep after set time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/285544 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
