Ok I got some hints form this bug. I installed resolvconf (apt-get install resolvconf) and added line to /etc/network/interfaces 'dns-nameservers 83.102.8.13 83.102.8.3' into iface eth0 inet static section And now magically resolv.conf contains those, even after suspend-resume sequence. It wa

julien, network always wiped resolv.conf so this is not an intrepid regression. Its misunderstood that resolv.conf is not a safe place to configure your dns. use resolvconf package with dns-nameservers in /e/n/interfaces. -- network manager 0.7 clears /etc/resolv.conf file https://bugs.launchpad.
