[Bug 293062] Re: timeout error on multipartition iPod eject
Trying to eject my iPod Shuffle (1st gen.) via Gnome's Eject button. Error window 1 comes up immediately. After a while, the second error windows pops up. Seems that the iPod is ejected though. uname -a: Linux Obelix 2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 01:57:59 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux ** Attachment added: First error message. Using 8.04 I managed my iPod using amarok. I had the eject command tweaked to allow non-root user. At 8.10 this does not work anymore, amarok fails to eject. So I switch to my desktop and right-click the icon. Tested from both Nautilus and Rhythmbox. The results are the same. The title of the error message is slightly different, but the error message itself is the same either way. The screenshot attached is from a Nautilus eject. When ejecting from Rhythmbox, the title is simply: Unable to eject.
