Could you follow the instructions here to upgrade to KDE 4.1.2:
http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-4.1.2 and see if Konqueror still crashes? Aside
from being much better than KDE 4.0.5 in general, Konqueror should be a bit
more stable in KDE 4.1.2.

Konqueror crashes with SIGSEGV
We are just about to upgrade all of our machines to Intrepid - I will
recheck once that is done - it will be no more than a few days -
hopefully our intrepid configuration scripts will be OKd by tomorrow so
I can test this on Monday.
