Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

When trying to select a range of files in a directory with a few files
and at least one subdirectory as follows:

1. click on the first file
2. shift click on a second file

I expect the range of files from the first to the second to be selected.
Instead, SOMETIMES, the first subdirectory is expanded and/or collapsed.

It does not seem to depend on the number of files in the range, or the
type of the file.

This might be related to lp:295408, which also involves shift-clicking,
but the action is different.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
