Just a side note: Kiax 2 is a complete rewrite of Kiax 0.8.5x and seems to run without errors on Intrepid. As of October it is being evaluated for inclusion in the Debian repository. In the meantime, the Linux binary may be downloaded directly. I'm not sure about dependencies; everything it needs

I have tried recompiling the kiax package, but failed. I started with sudo apt-get build-dep kiax then apt-get source kiax. Running fakeroot dpkg-buildpackage -b gave me the error iaxwrapper.cpp:220: error: ‘AUDIO_INTERNAL’ was not declared in this scope. The full build output is attached. **
