it works, my pacakage manager stopped giving error.
and its working fine now.
after i installed all repositories i got a error at last :

hi, i tried deleting 1st line , now it gives error in 2nd line '=hardy.list'
and the same thing continues.
I am attaching my file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list.
** Attachment added: this is the file giving errors. i have already deleted
first line as told .
Replace the entire /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list file with the
one I have attached. Do not keep the old one - it is not valid.
Of course, the one I have attached is for Hardy. You may need to
substitute 'hardy' with 'intrepid' if you are running 8.10.
Please let me know if that works.
