I don't know what you expect the test case to look like, but it might be:
1. start X
2. run any open gl 3d accelerated game (e.g.neverputt)
3. observe the artifacts as on the screenshot

Specifying an app you see the issue in saves guess work and allows
people to home in on that application to attempt to reproduce the issue
reported, diagnose the source and maybe fix it.
