[Bug 31789] Re: HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem)
this bug is about a transition in the libaqbanking package, and has nothing to do with gnucash. although I find this statement hard to believe by looking at the title of this bug, I am rejecting this report for the gnucash project on the merit of said statement and the fact that bug 5973 exists. ** Changed in: gnucash Assignee: (unassigned) = Rolf Leggewie (r0lf) Status: New = Invalid -- HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/31789 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

this bug is about a transition in the libaqbanking package, and has nothing to do with gnucash. sorry, I had read translation and not transition. Reinhard's statement was of course correct and so is the invalid flag for gnucash in this case. -- HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/31789 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 31789] Re: HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem)
this bug is about a transition in the libaqbanking package, and has nothing to do with gnucash. gnucash in ubuntu/debian lacks HBCI support because of bug #5973. See the linked debian bugs as well. short: you'll have to recompile your gnucash package for now. -- HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem) https://launchpad.net/bugs/31789 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 31789] Re: HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem)
What exactly was fixed for Feisty? I have an up-to-date Feisty, and I still can't use HBCI from GnuCash. There just doesn't seem to be any menu item connected to HBCI. -- HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem) https://launchpad.net/bugs/31789 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

fixed for feisty and edgy, not sure about dapper though. ** Changed in: libaqbanking (Ubuntu) Status: Unconfirmed = Fix Released -- HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem) https://launchpad.net/bugs/31789 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 31789] Re: HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem)
I had the available plugins installed, just the one I need (aqofxconnect) isn't currently built as an Ubuntu package. I filed bug #68351 about that. -- HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem) https://launchpad.net/bugs/31789 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 31789] Re: HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem)
Attached patch adds the build dep and configure arg needed to enable the HBCI support. (The OFXDirectConnect stuff doesn't work though, I guess the needed aqbanking plug-in isn't in Ubuntu.) ** Attachment added: Enable HBCI support. http://librarian.launchpad.net/4937126/gnucash_hbci.diff -- HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem) https://launchpad.net/bugs/31789 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I think you need libaqbanking-plugins-libgwenhywfar38 for aqbanking plugins. [Bug 31789] Re: HBCI banking doesn't work due to dependency problems (aqbanking problem)
It seems like it doesn't work, though I'm new to gnucash so I'm not entirely sure. From http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Setting_up_OFXDirectConnect_in_GnuCash_2 it looks like there should be a Tools - HBCI Setup menu item, but there isn't one here.
