Since it has been commented as having been fixed in Karmic it was
probably fixed in ooo-build patch set, which makes sense if it is also
fixed in Fedora as another user mentioned. The patch just must have not
been sent to upstream yet.

This bug has been fixed in the OpenOffice packages in Fedora. Can we
somehow get it for Ubuntu as well? I am a heavy user of slideshow
software, and I would so love this to be fixed! Don't want to use
Windows and Powerpoint anymore.
