[Bug 331013] Re: KRDC cuts the lower screen edge
Hey Pedro, I've been using KRDC 4.5.1 for a few months now and the issue seems to be fixed. It seems that the problem only showed once but never repeated, so it might have been just a fluke. Thanks for following up -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331013 Title: KRDC cuts the lower screen edge To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/331013/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 331013] Re: KRDC cuts the lower screen edge
Well, after one full year and 20 days since this bug report was created, this little bug is still there, at least on KRDC 4.3.2 on Ubuntu 9.1 - Karmic 32bit. For a while I switched to Terminal Server Client (tsclient v0.150) which works great except that does not have the tab functionality from kdrc that is so convenient when you need to connect to multiple servers at the same time. For anybody who only needs to connect to one server at a time I recommend you to try it. Thanks so much GoodWin for the workaround. Works great and after a while I don't even notice everything is reversed -- KRDC cuts the lower screen edge https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331013 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Workaround is to launch krdc with key --reverse -- KRDC cuts the lower screen edge https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331013 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 331013] Re: KRDC cuts the lower screen edge
Can confirm this is still a problem with fully patched Ubuntu 9.10 64bit system. Using compiz, NVIDIA driver, dual screens (Twinview not separate X screen). -- KRDC cuts the lower screen edge https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331013 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 331013] Re: KRDC cuts the lower screen edge
I also have this problem in a recently updated Jaunty. Lower edge is cut on all resolutions I have tried so far. I'm running Ubuntu on my LCD-tv so the native resolution is 1360x768. I am also running Compiz. Workaround for me is to increase the size of the Windows taskbar. Not a perfect solution but works ok in most cases. -- KRDC cuts the lower screen edge https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331013 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 331013] Re: KRDC cuts the lower screen edge
I've upgraded to Jaunty, the bug still there. Moreover, the taskbar is not seen, if I set the resolution to 1280x1024, as earlier. -- KRDC cuts the lower screen edge https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331013 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release?
