The processor is an Intel E7200 Core 2 Duo.
As far as reproducibility, it's pretty intermittent. Sometimes it'll
run for a few hours, other times for days. I've never had it happen

Same Here, using Kubuntu 9.04 i386, with Nvidia drivers. This started to
occur this weekend...I've using boinc since may, 15. The system freezes
rigth after fully charged, and I just have time to stop boinc-client on
terminal.

I've experienced a complete lockup on my server (which is running boinc in a
32bit OpenVZ container), too.

When using with worldcommunitygrid.org freezed my computer (after 60 hours
not continuous of one big file). I stoped climate and worked very well, and
now I stoped worldcommunity and climate is working (using one processor only
