Public bug reported:
After loading updates for Kubuntu 8.10, the program kept asking for the
english language to be loaded. It all ready was loaded during the inital
setup. I have seen this issue on more than one install. After I could
not get past this issue, I rebooted, it is at that time I started
getting the white and black screen problem I reported earlier. I have
this version running on another computer with out any problems. I had to
load one of my other version of Ubuntu on my ACER and it is running
fine , no errors at all.
