It started when I tried too move the taskbar from the top of the screen
too the bottom, then they seemed to overlap but now they're just gone.

Boot up sequence brings me to desktop, but no taskbar or tray are visible. Am

Very sorry, this email was sent to my spam folder, just found it.
I could repeat the problem only upon boot-up. Didn't take a
screenshot. My husband, knowledgeable in Linux, eventually resolved the
problem, he said that it had to do with the gnome panel. I'm not sure
what else it may have been
