I can confirm the compiz updates released quite a while ago fixed the
bug for me.

Using the PPA version also worked for me. Do anybody know how to revert
from PPA version when the main Jaunty gets fixed?

Apparently this can be solved by adding the Compiz PPA to my
sources.list file. The packages appear to be out of sync with the main
Jaunty repos and this should be fixed as soon as possible.
