Public bug reported: Due to struct in6_pktinfo not being POSIX, GNU libc6 does not define it unless _GNU_SOURCE is defined. wide-dhcpv6 needs it.
Defining _GNU_SOURCE does not work since wide-dhcpv6 developers named their debug messages function dprintf. This conflicts with GNU dprintf. This bug is fixed in wide-dhcpv6 20080615-6 in Debian and the fix can easily be backported to whatever version fits Jaunty release. ** Affects: wide-dhcpv6 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Jérémie Corbier (jcorbier) Status: Confirmed ** Changed in: wide-dhcpv6 (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Jérémie Corbier (jcorbier) Status: New => Confirmed -- wide-dhcpv6 has been failing to build for a long time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/341815 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
