Kubuntu prefers fish over sftp for some time now. So when you try to
setup a network link in the network slave (which would be the network
link in dolphin's places bar), it will add a link using SFTP rather than
KDE's default choice FISH.
We made this choice exactly because of cases like these.
The problem is also in Beta.
I noticed that fails with fish: ptotocol. sftp: and ftp: protocols run
fine.

More information:
- The problem is with WIFI but WIFI run without problems (no packets drops no
retry ... no problem). With ethernet bitrates are different but no hangs.
- In KDE desktop I can run Nautilus and run fine. Always Konqueror or Dolphin
hangs.
- Console applications run fine.
