Public bug reported: 9.04 beta upgraded from 8.10 applications such as evolution or ooffice as well as the terminal ignore the LC_TIME setting (in my case de_DE.UFT-8) an show dates as 'yyyy-mm-dd' or 'dd/mm/yyyy' instead of 'dd.mm.yyyy' which is defined in the 'de-DE' locale. The names of the months, although, are displayed using the German names.
