Public bug reported: Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree
Description: Ubuntu 9.04 Release: 9.04 flashplugin-nonfree: Geïnstalleerd: 10.0.22.87ubuntu2 Kandidaat: 10.0.22.87ubuntu2 Versietabel: *** 10.0.22.87ubuntu2 0 500 http://nl.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/multiverse Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status firefox-3.0: Geïnstalleerd: 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 Kandidaat: 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 Versietabel: *** 3.0.8+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://nl.archive.ubuntu.com jaunty/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status uname -a: Linux westerdijk 2.6.28-11-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 17 01:57:59 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux To reproduce this bug: play a video in youtube and close the tab in which it plays. Works also with other (non-video) flash-objects, but then firefox doesn't crash as often as when I use youtube. (Other video sites like vimeo.com and 123video.nl cause the same frequent crashes.) Messages produced when I start firefox in a terminal: Removing DOMNodeRemoved listener (firefox:7552): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_draw_image: assertion `GDK_IS_GC (gc)' failed (firefox:7552): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (These messages repeat, the first message appears at random, the other two always together in this order.) And when firefox crashes I get either: E: mutex-posix.c: Assertion 'pthread_mutex_lock(&m->mutex) == 0' failed at pulsecore/mutex-posix.c:90, function pa_mutex_lock(). Aborting. Or: Segmentatiefout (segfault, only once) The first crash message seems to assume a problem with pulse audio, but I use Alsa. Any other information needed? ** Affects: flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- firefox crashes on closing pages with flash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/363686 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
