original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to
reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against
the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this
what does 'lsattr /usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/olpc' say?

Although you cannot move or delete the ./usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/olpc
file. I was able to restore the functionality of my keyboard keys by
coping the entire symbols folder someplace else, then coping all the
files except the olpc one back.
