I agree that the documentation is a problem... but I'm also curious as to what prompted you to disable ipv6. Have you filed a bug about what that problem is? Perhaps that problem can be solved, and disabling ipv6 can be avoided. -- no way to disable ipv6 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/368368

My home network does not support ipv6 so this causes the internet to load new webpages slowly as it locates the servers or whatever. I'm sure you know more about what I am talking about than I do. Do you know how I can disable ipv6? seems like the quickest fix to my internet problem. -- no way
