The strange thing is that I don't have the bug on my Dell GX260 - both boxes used the same install cd for 9.04 - I used the Ubuntu restricted extras for each as well...* + Binary package hint: totem Totem Movie Player opens fine and seems to find media, except launching. When i open the player i can load media but as soon as i try to launch it, Totem closes. Every time. I tried re-installing the packages, but no luck. This is strange because i didn't have this problem while using Ubuntu 8.10 (just upgraded to 9.04.) This renders the media player useless on my system. What a PAIN! I hope a fix is made.
