Hello Bryce, thanks for your feedback. I've attached the logs you requested. In the meantime I noticed that through several updates in Ubuntu karmic, my framerate increased to approx. 400 fps. Ok, in that case, this bug report can be closed. I thought glxgears was especially designed for benchmark purposes.
