Can you comment if this is still an issue for you? I notice the
following in your DpkgTerminalLog.txt file:
/usr/share/debconf/confmodule: line 42: printf: write error: Broken pipe
User postinst hook script [/sbin/update-grub] exited with value 1
dpkg: error processing
I have not been able to use my Ubuntu machine in several weeks.
Please go ahead and close this issue, since I do not know.
