After running intel_gpu_dump after resuming, I switch vt's back to X, and experienced the same symptoms (locked up, touchpad could move mouse cursor, external mouse could not, system not responsive to vt changing, could still ssh into it, sysrq's were responded to). ** Tags added: kms suspend **
